Dream of the return

I've been back in sacramento for 2 months now... it's been interesting. Of course it's always good to get back in touch with friends and people you missed, even tho you left friends and people you miss at the last place you were at, but I guess that is just a part of life. The most important part, however, my son kenny, is doing well. He is happiest that I am back.
Soooo.. WE got through october, the Journey concert, halloween. Helping Jeanette get moved and Out to AFrica for her teaching position. Then November, Kirsten's 20th birthday at magic mountian, Moving into my own place.. (actually back at the same complex I used to live at, just a smaller ..i.e. less expensive, apartment) Thanksgiving at Lake Tahoe with my family, and, like I said, getting in touch with good friends. who've been part of my life for the last year.

"putting the band back together" ... it's nice to be playing alongside Phillip and Bobbie again, it feels like coming home.
and getting ready for christmas, my most favorite time of year. I can never help but smile as I look at our tree, our ornaments, all of the stuff we've collected over the years.
It's just a fun time. So, i've returned to sacramento. The reality of the return isn't quite as nice as the Dream of the return was, but still, all in all, there's no place like home.
